After having introduced and declined in several colorways the Vision Racer silhouette since last year (article available HERE), Jaden Smith is interested in a cult model of the New Balance brand, the 574.
Dubbed the « Jaden 574 », this shoe is the first collab of Jaden Smith with New Balance non-Vision Racer.
For the construction, it stays true to the partners’ eco-responsible expectations : the upper is made of 73% surplus materials, 9% recycled content and 18% virgin materials.
Like the Vision Racer « Surplus », each shoe is unique. It’s made with a non-traditional assembly of suede and mesh inserts in different bright colors. The pair sports a bold deconstructed look resembling a DYE project. We find the classic NB branding details on the tongue and heel tab, as well as Jaden’s signature on the heel. The whole is based on a white EVA midsole featuring the brand’s signature ENCAP cushioning and a black outsole.
The Jaden Smith x New Balance 574 will be released on September 17, 2021 at select retailers and on newbalance.com for 120$. Be ready !
