As previously announced, the French fashion house JACQUEMUS and American giant NIKE continue their fruitful collaboration begun in 2022. After bringing out the Humara model from the Swoosh brand’s archives, the talented designer unveils a hybrid pair, the JF1 (Jacquemus Force 1).
Described as a “sophisticated shoe with the spirit of an AF1”, this new silhouette combines the aesthetics and technologies of designer Simon Porte Jacquemus‘ 2 favorite NIKE models : the Air Force 1 and the ACG Terra.
The 1st monochrome iterations appear in classic, timeless colorways : black or white.
This JF1 sports a chic streetwear look. It consists of a leather upper, with matching overlays and perforations on the toe box evoking the Air Force 1 design. The sneaker is adorned with a midsole adorned with a weave that gives the impression of a bold studded style on its side, a nod to Nike’s All Conditions Gear (ACG) line and therefore to the Terra model. Like the Nike Humara revisited by Jacquemus, these pairs feature a silver metal mini-Swoosh on the quarter panel and flat triangular studs with the Swoosh logo. Tongue co-branding and dubraes with embossed JF1 assert the collab, while elegantly finalizing the design.
