After embarking on its 15-year celebration by partnering with N.Hoolywood and New Balance last October, INVINCIBLE unveils a new and exciting anniversary special collaboration. The Taiwanese sneaker store has teamed up with workwear legend CARHARTT WIP to create a collection called « Advanced Exploration ».
The capsule is built around 7 classic CARHARTT WIP pieces reinvented by INVINCIBLE with the help of Japanese designer Shinsuke Nakada to give us an « Advanced Exploration » (as the name suggests).
The famous designer used his extensive knowledge of American style and his eye for detail to design these collaborative pieces by uniting Western and Eastern fashion inspirations.
We discover reimagined pants, jackets, hoodies, shirts and overshirts, t-shirts and bucket hats. They appear in a color palette ranging from black to white, through Hamilton Brown, grey mottled, navy blue and forest green. To affirm the collab, each piece is adorned with the co-branding.
Among these items, the classic Chore Coat has been reinterpreted with pockets reminiscent of the Detroit Jacket and a hood hidden in the collar to accentuate the functionality. The Double Knee Pants feature an oversized fit, enlarged pockets and an elastic waist. The overshirt features a stylish navy/forest green check pattern and the shirt appears traditionally striped in blue/white.
The INVINCIBLE x Carhartt WIP « Advanced Exploration » collection will be released on March 4, 2023 in stores and on partner sites invincible.com.tw and carhartt-wip.com. Be ready !
