[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]For the Spring/Summer 2020 season, the Danish brand Hummel invites us to discover a textile collection mixing modernity and Scandinavian traditions. A project inspired by current Danish surfing and skateboarding of the 80/90s.
The first collection is called “Cold Hawaii”. Per year on average, Denmark counts 175 rainy days. In summertime, the temperature usually reaches a little less than 20 degrees. However, on the Danish west coast there is the surfing paradise known as Cold Hawaii. It’s the colours of the seaside mixed with the vibrations of the Nordic surfers that have inspired a collection offering unexpected designs but deeply rooted in the sport.
The second collection is named ” I Scream Ice Cream”. The Hummel teams were inspired by the skateboarding of late 80s, fused with contemporary pop colours. This collection features shoes with strong multicolored hues.
A shoe pack called “Vegan Leather Pack” and composed of classic silhouettes, is introduced to us with updates for an elegant and contemporary look. The all-white colour palette combined with reflective panels, intensify this modern touch.
