The famous sneaker website HOUSE OF HEAT has just reached the million subscribers mark. To celebrate this milestone and thank the followers, the HOH team worked with legendary sneaker maker VIJZ Bespokes (Sam Van IJzndoorn) for an exclusive project. The Holland-based artist brought to life one of the most popular House of Heat concepts : the Nike SB Dunk Low « Sour Patch Kids ».
Sam Van IJzndoorn turned the mock-up into reality, even pushing the limits to fit the « Candy » theme perfectly : the Swooshes are coated with sugar. This special sneaker is handcrafted with high-end materials.
Featuring the brand’s famous « Sour Patch Kids » candy boys colors, the shoe adopts a playful and bold look.
It features a yellow suede upper with green suede overlays. This base is complemented by red colored elements, such as the side Swoosh and the tongue tag. To affirm the inspiration, the inner lining appears multicolored and covered in a print combining candy silhouettes. A blue embroidery of this character on the side heel and a yellow tongue in grained leather finalize the design. The whole is based on a white midsole coupled with a bright red outsole.
