The German giant ADIDAS continues to unveil collaborations taking part in the A-ZX series relaunched for a new edition since August 2020. After the letter Z represented by the new ZX FURY silhouette designed with Reebok (article available HERE), the famous German media HIGHSNOBIETY has gone up the alphabet to define the letter Q with an adidas ZX 8000 named « Qualität ».
Its name means « Quality or Excellence » in German. Indeed, this collaborative sneaker has a luxurious approach. It’s adorned with a premium construction and adopts an understated and elegant look.
The shoe is dressed in a neutral color palette, mixing cream and beige shades. In terms of the construction, it consists of a mesh upper, complemented by leather overlays in subtle shades of color. The inner lining is also made of tonal leather, adding a touch of comfort and luxury. Unlike traditional versions, the tongue is devoid of branding. This distinction accentuates the pair’s polished and refined look. The collaboration is still affirmed by the HS initials engraved on the leather dubrae, the back of the heel and affixed to the cork insole. The whole is based on an off-white midsole combined with a vintage gumsole.
The Highsnobiety x adidas ZX 8000 « Qualität » is set to release soon on adidas.com or the adidas CONFIRMED app, and at select retailers for a price point around 140$. Stay tuned for the latest updates…
