While some pieces from the VILEBREQUIN x HIGHSNOBIETY collaborative collection are still available (article available HERE), the famous German streetwear media unveils a collaboration with the Japanese brand BAPE. A trio of BAPE STA was developed to celebrate the third « Not In Paris » exhibition of Highsnobiety.
The event celebrates creativity and aims to directly connect major brands and independent labels with the public. The first edition was launched in June 2020 after Paris Men’s Fashion Week was cancelled due to the global health crisis. This digital alternative was a great success. This third installment includes that collaborative project, as well as over 15 other collabs and exclusive content.
The BAPE STA revisited by HIGHSNOBIETY are offered in Blue, Red or Green. They consist of a premium suede upper in solid blue, red or green. This base is complemented by white elements, such as the BAPE shooting star logo on the sides, the inner lining and the brandings on the heel tab. On the side heel of each shoe, we discover either the Eiffel Tower motif or the phrase « Not In Paris » embroidered in white thread. Matching laces to the vamp, metallic top eyelets and dubrae, and an all-white sole add the final touch to the design.
