As part of its Spring/Summer 2021 collection, the legendary American brand Carhartt presents a new collaboration. After the collection developed with the French label L’Art de l’Automobile (article available HERE), Carhartt has teamed up with the Korean brand HELINOX to offer us a selection of light camping furniture ideal for enjoying the beautiful days in nature.
HELINOX was founded in 2009. This brand manufactures outdoor furniture as light, compact and robust as possible. It offers pieces with original design and easy assembly.
Carhartt brings its unique workwear aesthetic touch to these camping items. Two revisited pieces are offered : the Valiant 4 tactical chair and the One Valiant 4 table. The design of these items is inspired by the Spring/Summer 2021 collection (article available HERE). We find the 4-color « Laurel » camo pattern, along with traditional utility colorways from the American brand. These pieces are embellished with a co-branded woven label affirming the collaboration.
The chair and table are constructed of sturdy yet lightweight materials. They are made of fabric combined with high strength aluminum tubing developed by experts in DAC tent pole technology.
The chair weighs only 957 grams and can fit into a backpack when folded. The table is just as light, weighing exactly 935.5 grams. Each can be carried in its own co-branded camouflage zippered bag.
The Helinox x Carhartt WIP collection is already available at carharrt-wip.com and selected retailers like END. The recommanded retail price is 210$ for each piece.
