HANON x Padmore & Barnes M387 Willow Sport

The HANON Scottish shop continues its strong partnership with the Irish shoe designers Padmore & Barnes. For this new collaborative project, HANON has revisited the classic silhouette of the Irish brand’s catalog, the Willow, which was redesigned more than a year ago. Influenced by performance, this ultra-limited edition shoe is renamed M387 Willow Sport.

The pair presented today is made in Europe and hand-stitched by the artisans at Padmore & Barnes. HANON wanted to add a sporty touch to this moccasin-style silhouette.

It consists of an upper in top quality Italian suede, declined in 3 shades of grey. The different inserts are meticulously assembled by visible white or cream stitching. The inner lining is made with lush leather and the insole, also in leather, is custom-made. To complete the look, the famous Flame HANON logo appears applied in silver foil on the heel, while it’s coupled with the gold Padmore & Barnes branding on the insole. Two sets of laces are included : one matching the upper and one in a contrasting, modern color. The touch of originality of this collaboration lies in the sole : HANON has replaced the classic crepe version with a high-performance white VIBRAM Morflex unit. This sole is an EVA-based expanded rubber compound, designed to provide comfort, lightness and durability.

In order to assert the exclusivity of the model, each pair is embellished with a numbered, hand-written tag. The shoes are wrapped in branded tissue paper and delivered in a Padmore & Barnes signature box with gold leaf branding on the lid.

The HANON x Padmore & Barnes M387 Willow Sport is limited to 72 pairs. It will be available through an open raffle from February 19, 2021 to February 26, 2021, available here https://launches.hanon-shop.com/products/padmore-barnes-willow-m387-sport-2-x-hanon-hanm387sp2gy.
