The giant adidas unveils a new collaboration with the Microsoft XBOX. After commemorating the 20th anniversary of the famous console in 2021 with FORUM Tech Boost, Low and Mid, the 3-stripes brand presents an NMD V3 « UNSC » celebrating the 1st anniversary of the video game developed by 343 Industries : Halo Infinite.
This shoe features a design referring to the tumultuous journey of Master Chief in the game. In the Halo universe, the UNSC (United Nations Space Command) is the human military organization that repels invasions.
In a color palette of shades of blue and green, the shoe consists of an aqua knit upper with heat-fused overlays and exposed tone-on-tone seam lines. To complete the look, the pair is adorned with bright blue detailing and black elements such as the side 3-Stripes, tongue and heel pulls, rear heel reinforcement and inner lining. The collab is affirmed by adidas’ UNSC and Trefoil logos subtly emblazoned on the quarter panel. The whole is based on a white Boost midsole covered in part with icy TPU and a bright blue outsole.
The Halo Infinite x Xbox x adidas NMD V3 will be released on November 5, 2022 for $180, at select retailers and on adidas.com.
