The CLARKS brand continues to enrich its footwear offer through special editions and quality collabs. In addition to offering us a special Sashiko collection at the beginning of this fall season (article available HERE), the legendary British label invites the London concept store GOODHOOD to reimagine the iconic Wallabee Boot.
The 2 partners have already worked together on the Wallabee in 2016.
This new 100% British collaboration is part of the celebration of the 15 years of activity of the GOODHOOD shop.
At first glance, this reinterpreted Wallabee sports a simple design. But a closer look reveals that it is adorned with many eye-catching details.
The shoe consists of a black suede upper, embellished with tonal engraved star motifs. It features matching stitching throughout the foot, a modified black collar with shark tooth detailing and a tongue top with a fringe cutout. To affirm the collab, the pair features a co-branded black hangtag and the names of the 2 brands are inscribed in gold color on the black insole. The whole is based on a yellowed gum sole, which adds a touch of contrast to the design and a vintage feel.
The Goodhood x Clarks Wallabee is available in stores and online at goodhood.com for $190 (192€). Sizes range from UK 7 to UK 12. Don’t sleep !
