[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]The Hamburg sneakers shop in Germany, Glory Hole, has teamed up with Kangaroos to offer us a collaboration conceived as a tribute to a famous avenue in Hamburg city : Reeperbahn.
It’s in Sankt-Pauli District of Hamburg that is located the sulphurous avenue known worldwide (since 1920) as the main highway of the famous pleasure district. There are many nightclubs, music pubs, theatres… But also strip bars,sex shops, brothels ect. After the Second World War, sex, drugs and rock’n’roll invaded Sankt-Pauli. The Beatles made their debut in clubs in this neighborhood.
This Kangaroos is a tribute to the golden age of Sankt-Pauli and people charmed by the bright lights and the promises of sin.
The pair, mostly black with pink hues, consists of a smooth leather and a perforated leather upper. We find Kangaroos and Glory Hole branding details on the tongue and insole. Sexy women legs, logo of the famous Zur Ritze Pub, are printed on the back of the heel.
Zur Ritze is a pub with a boxing ring in the basement in Hamburg-St-Pauli. It’s located in a backyard and has a famous front door, which is flanked to the right and left by two spread, high heeled female legs painted by Erwin Ross.
