FroSkate x Nike SB Dunk High

The famous Nike SB Dunk High has surfaced in a new makeup. After being redesigned by SUPREME just a month ago (article available HERE), the iconic shoe appears reinterpreted by the skateboarding community FROSKATE.

Based in Chicago and founded in 2019, FroSkate brings together BIPOC skateboarders who identify as gender non-conforming, queer or trans. In order to free speech and create social connections, this community has already organized over 70 events and regular meetups in less than 3 years.

The Nike SB Dunk High collaborative allows to skate with style but also to pass a message of peace.

It consists of a white leather upper with heart-shaped perforations on the toe box and the slogan « All Love, No Hate » engraved and repeated on the side panels. The side Swoosh is presented in black, and in a mismatch fashion, the leather overlays are dressed in red and orange on one foot and lime/fir green on the other. The tongue-lace assembly is also different colors on each foot, red and fir green respectively. The left shoe features the playful, multi-colored FROSKATE branding on its tongue tag and the message « All Love No Hate » adorns the right tongue tag. To complete the look, the white insoles are adorned with multicolored spot prints, and the inner lining and inner tongue face appear padded. The whole is based on a white midsole and a translucent icy outsole that harmoniously finalize the look.

The pair will be delivered with several sets of laces and most likely in a special box.

The FroSkate x Nike SB Dunk High will be released in the coming weeks or months, in selected skateshops and on partner sites, froskate.comand nike.com. More details to come, stay tuned !
