Introduced 2 years ago by the luxury brand Casablanca and reinterpreted since by many sportswear brands (various articles available on this site), the popularity of the New Balance 327 goes beyond the world of sneakers. This famous silhouette appears today remodeled by the Swiss watchmaker Franck Muller.
The 2 partners present us with 2 collaborative variations, one « White/Multi » and the other « White/Navy ».
Referring to the activity of Franck Muller, these shoes are inspired by models of flagship watches of the brand from Geneva.
Specifically, the White/Multi pays tribute to the « Color Dreams » collection. It consists of a white upper enhanced by a mishmash of multicolored numbers. On one side of the foot, these patterns appear on the iconic N logo and on the other they cover the entire white part. To complete the look, the overlays are distinguished by various mismatched colors, such as yellow, pink, red, blue and purple. The whole is based on a white midsole and an outsole combining white, red and yellow.
The White/Navy version is slightly more discreet. It has the same design as the previous pair but in a two-tone white and navy blue evoking the Vanguard Yotting watch. A white midsole and a navy blue outsole complete the look.
Both colorways feature co-branded insoles and a « Franck Muller Geneva » dubrae with a circular shape reminiscent of watch dials.
The Franck Muller x New Balance 327, available in 2 colorways, will be released in a limited edition on March 26, 2022 for $185 (¥22,000), at select retailers and on https://www.franckmuller-eboutique.jp/newbalance2022/. Don’t sleep !
