Fragment x Nike Dunk High « City Pack »

In parallel with the collaboration Fragment x Sacai x Nike LDWaffle (article available HERE), Hiroshi Fujiwara should continue its partnership with the Beaverton giant by reissuing the Dunk High « City Pack » released in 2010.

Earlier this week, the founder of Fragment published a black and white image on his Instagram account featuring Dunks High with the lightning signature of his streetwear brand. While new colorways could have been developed, it’s much more likely that it’s a re-release of the 2010 versions making up the « City Pack », as evidenced by the posts on the @py_rates account.

This capsule is composed of 3 Dunk High inspired by the cities of London, Beijing and New York.

The pink and yellow pair representing London, as well as the black and dark purple iteration referring to Beijing alternate the colors in the same way : they are reversed from the right foot to the left foot. The sole of the Dunk Hi « London » in light grey adds an extra touch of contrast, while the « Beijing » pair opts for a more understated design with a white midsole combined with a black outsole.

The New York version has a white base and adopts overlays and an outsole in different colors on each shoe : red for the left foot and black for the right foot. The side swoosh and laces appear in black and the midsole ensures a harmonious look with its white color.

The 3 iterations feature the Fragment logo engraved on the heel and could be embellished with various inscriptions, including « FA21 », suggesting the re-release of this pack for the end of 2021.

The Fragment x Nike Dunk High « City Pack » is expected to be released in the fall of 2021 at selected retailers and on nike.com for 150€ per iteration. Stay tuned for the latest details !
