The famous Czech store FOOTSHOP continues the celebration of its 10th anniversary by unveiling the 3rd and final part of its collaborative series with the brand KangaROOS. Following the 2 previous Ultimate 3 silhouettes reinterpreted (articles available on this site), a « Nocturna » version finalizes the project.
Just like the Ultimate 3 « The City Of A Hundred Spire » and « Flip » released respectively in 2018 and 2019, this new iteration is inspired by the city of Prague. It’s handcrafted and individually numbered.
After dressing this flagship silhouette of the KangaROOS brand in dark brown/mint green, and then light brown/mint green, Footshop replaces the brown hues with a timeless and elegant black color.
It features a smooth, perforated black suede upper with contrasting green leather suede lower overlays and with a new addition of ballistic nylon-like canvas. As a nod to the previous 2 versions, the sneaker sports a green tongue with a dark brown pull on one foot and light brown on the other. To complete the look, the inner lining reworked in is dressed in light brown and the black and silver tongue co-branding features the number « 10 » added on the name of the Czech shop to affirm the anniversary project. On the right heel is the silver FOOTSHOP embroidery and on the left is the embroidery of Prague’s iconic Charles’s Bridge. A comfortable white midsole with a touch of grey polyurethane foam and a black rubber outsole adds the final touch to the design.
The Footshop x KangaROOS Ultimate 3 « Nocturna » will be released on December 21, 2021, exclusively at FOOTSHOP, in stores and online at footshop.com. This latest version is the most limited of the 3 : only 250 pieces. Don’t sleep !
