Famous shop FOOTPATROL has teamed up with STASH aka Josh Franklin to celebrate his upcoming art exhibition « Exhibit A » in London. The partners have designed exclusive pieces and organized an event to highlight the work and impact of the multi-faceted artist.
Through ‘Exhibit A’, STASH unveils decades of his versatile artistic style, guided by a conceptual lens that continues to push the boundaries of creativity to the present day. This exhibition presents a rich chronology of his artistic work, from his early involvement in New York’s graffiti movements to his burgeoning influence on the fashion scene. To illustrate his journey of bridging the gap between street, art and culture, STASH takes us on a journey through some of his most popular pieces to date.
The artist has been a pioneer his entire life, pushing the boundaries to become the 1st non-athlete to collaborate with Nike on a pair of sneakers.
To honor STASH and his ‘Exhibit A’ exhibition in London, FOOTPATROL, in association with Gimme5 and Thomas Rampino, has created a limited edition commemorative t-shirt. Made from cotton, this piece features a print of the EXHIBIT A graphic and the name STASH on the chest in its signature blue hue. On the back, at the level of the neck, we discover a co-branding that affirms the collab.
The famous British shop also worked with STASH to design a special 20th anniversary « Gasmask » t-shirt for FOOTPATROL. The design features the Footpatrol gas mask graphic in a gradient, mixed with the overlay of STASH’s iconic FAT CAP graphic. « 20th Anniversary » is added on the left sleeve and the STASH tag on the back neckline.
In conjunction with the exhibit, Footpatrol hosted an in-store signing with STASH on November, 24, 2022 to launch his new book SUBBLUEMINAL, which chronicles his vision, journey and plans throughout his career. Available in stores and online, each book will be accompanied by a bookmark and delivered in a tote bag. The vinyl toy “South Paw Sculpture” by STASH is also available at FOOTPATROL.
The 2 partners also made a ‘SUBBLUEMINAL’ hoodie.
The ‘EXHIBIT A’ exhibition will run at the contemporary gallery StolenSpace in London from November 26 to December 3, 2022. EXHIBIT A’ and ‘Gasmask’ t-shirts will be priced at $50 (£45) each, with a complimentary tote bag. The SUBBLUEMINAL book will be available for $58 (£50), the vinyl toy ‘South Paw Sculpture’ will cost $93 (£80) and the hoodie $98 (£85) in store and on Footpatrol’s launches App . Don’t sleep !
