In addition to offering rare products and exclusive collections, the FOOTPATROL shop regularly partners with creatives to create unique collabs (several items available on this site). To highlight these co-imagined projects and celebrate the power of collaboration, the iconic store launched the ‘Communi-T’ series in 2017. Today, it presents us with a t-shirt reinterpreted by Remi Rough, an artist from South London.

With this new offering, FOOTPATROL continues to bring the worlds of fashion and art together. Remi Rough is one of the UK’s leading “post-graffiti” artists. After graffitiing the walls and trains of South London in the 1980s, this artist regularly exhibits in galleries. His first works were shown at the Whitechapel Gallery in 1990 and at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art, Indiana, USA in 2022. He still works on the street and, in addition to spray paint, also uses brushes to create works on paper, canvas and wood. Remi Rough pushes the boundaries of architecture with forms and spaces that go back to his experience as a graffiti artist. He has also participated in the largest mural in London, alongside other committed artists.

For this collaboration offering, Remi Rough brought his bold touch to a 100% cotton t-shirt in aqua blue and named ‘Paradise Tee’. The front is adorned with an abstract work of the artist, accompanied by his signature. On the back, the message “The Side of Paradise” appears in black like a graffiti. This ‘wordmark’ is taken from the name of a book by F. Scott Fitzgerald, who was the first to publish the word ‘t-shirt’.

The Footpatrol x Remi Rough ‘Paradise Tee’ is now available in stores and online at footpatrol.com. The price is set at £35 ($45) and sizes range from S to XXL. Let’s go !
