[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]A few weeks ago, I told you in an article (available HERE) about the latest collaboration between Footpatrol and the sportswear brand Puma. A limited edition project « Made in Italy » paying tribute to the impact that the mythical Puma Suede silhouette has had in the history of streetwear and streetculture.
Having had the chance to receive it, I suggest you to discover it in pictures at my feet.
With this collaboration, FOOTPATROL highlights the heritage of the Suede. This version retains the original design of Rudolf Dassler while adding some subtle touches and is adorned with a high-end construction « Made In Italy ». It consists of a black hairy suede upper with off-white Puma side band. The laces, tongue and inner lining in black harmonize the design. A nice touch of elegance is added by metallic gold lettering, such as the Footpatrol Gasmask logo on the black leather heel insert and the classic Puma tongue label, as well as the Puma name on the side panels and the numbering of the pair on the side heel. The whole is based on a totally off-white sole matching the Puma stripe.
I find this collaboration ultra qualitative. It perfectly pays tribute to the heritage of this mythical silhouette by using one of these OG colorways, black and white, with discreet details specific to Footpatrol. The English have perfectly impregnated themselves with the historical aspect of Suede to make a beautiful version 2.0.
