A few days ago, the famous New York designer Ronnie Fieg teased an upcoming collaboration with Clarks and adidas based on the legendary Samba silhouette. The KITH founder provided some details on the design and launch of this unreleased pair, the 8th st. Samba.

Ronnie Fieg had the idea to create a collaboration with 2 brands that are close to him and have the same mindset. The Queens native has already brought his touch to iconic ADIDAS silhouettes and has had a successful partnership with Clarks for 2 years with the special ‘8th Street’ collection.

This reinvented Samba is expected to come in 3 colorways : beige, light grey/forest green and forest green.

These pairs are composed of a high end English suede upper ‘Steads’, which is used on the iconic Clarks Wallabees. This base is complemented by suede or leather inserts depending on the version. Premium leather is also used for the inner lining and insole. The specificity of the triple collaborative model stands out in the sole : the traditional adidas unit has been replaced by a signature yellowed crepe sole of quality A from the legendary Clarks Originals brand. These exclusive models feature a double hangtag in the upper colorway with the engraved logos of the 3 partners : Fieg, Clarks and the adidas Trefoil. This exclusive combination of branding is also engraved on the insole and the tongue tag.

These Samba 8th st. will come in special boxes with a mountain landscape illustration on the lid.

The Fieg x Clarks x adidas 8th st. Samba in 3 colorways will be released on March 24, 2023, when a new shop opens. We will keep you informed of the sales details as soon as the official info appears. This shoe should be available in stores and online on kith.com. Stay tuned !
