Japanese fashion designer Junya Watanabe continues his collaboration with NEW BALANCE and unveils a new trio of 574s through his eYe Junya Watanabe MAN label. After a college-inspired assortment released last April, Rei Kawakubo’s protégé brings us three stylish colorways.
The retro NB sneaker is presented in perfect winter colorways « Dark Camo », « Incense » and « Black ».
These special pairs are mainly monochromatic. Dressed in suede, they come in an off-white/olive, off-white/beige and black/navy blue color combination. To complete the look, the side N logo appears in suede to match the quarter panel and is outlined in white. The NB 574 branding adorns the tongue tag and the eYe logo is embroidered in tone-on-tone at the heel. Each pair features a black co-branded insole that confirms the collab, as well as a heel clip and midsole that match the suede inserts. The whole is based on a black outsole that brings the final touch to the design.
These pairs will be delivered with 2 sets of laces, one in a color matching the overlays and the other off-white matching the toe box and collar.
The eYe Junya Watanabe MAN x New Balance 574 trio is available from October 21, 2022 at eYe Junya Watanabe stores for $250 (¥33,600) per pair.
