A year ago, German giant ADIDAS invited New York designer Eric Emanuel to lead its Mc Donald’s All-American collaboration based on the Forum 84 Hi silhouette (article available HERE). The 3 partners are teaming up again this year to develop a second version of the popular bball.
To design this new opus, Eric Emanuel was inspired by the fast food chain’s signature brown packaging.
This Forum 84 High special features a light brown leather base with matching overlays and 3-Stripes. Red, yellow and blue details at the seams, eyelets and heel tab ensure the design. The McDonald’s logo is featured on various parts of the shoe : the heel, tongue, insole, side panels, and under-ankle area. The toe box is decorated with the famous Eric Emanuel logo. To complete the look, the other elements appear in white, such as the tongue, laces, strap, inner lining and midsole. The whole is based on a gum outsole.
The Eric Emanuel x adidas Forum 84 High « McDonald’s All-American » will be released in the coming months at selected retailers and on adidas.com, for a price around 130$. More info to come, stay tuned !
