A few days ago, I told you in an article (available HERE) about the latest collaboration between the English retailer END. and the American sneaker brand Saucony. This new collaborative pair named « Fried Chicken » is inspired by the world of cooking and especially fast food.
Having had the chance to receive it thanks to the teams of Saucony, I suggest you to discover it in pictures on my feet.
END. transformed the Shadow 6000 to resemble the very tasty and gourmet Fried Chicken.
The shoe consists of a smooth suede upper in shades of mustard yellow/beige « fried chicken » with tonal hairy suede overlays. This mixed base helps mimic the texture of the featured fast food item. To complete the look, the sneaker benefits from red colored elements, such as the heel tab, tongue lining and lace aglets, which recall the signature hue of these fast food and chicken aesthetics, as well as the sauce that traditionally pairs with fried chicken. The Saucony « S » logo on the quarter panel is dressed in red chenille fabric and has a small white chicken bone addition to provide inspiration in a creative and playful way. In the same spirit, the co-branded tongue tag features an illustration of a happy retro chicken and the laces are presented in plush beige material. Beige/red striped insoles, an off-white midsole and a red outsole finish the look harmoniously.
The END. X SAUCONY SHADOW 6000 « FRIED CHICKEN » was released on October 22, 2022 at a price of 175€. Once again, Saucony and END. have offered us a beautiful collaboration ultra quality with materials and colors that perfectly match. For me, it’s a Must Have in a sneaker addict collection.
