The famous British retailer END. and the American equipment manufacturer Reebok are continuing their collaboration based on the InstaPump Fury OG silhouette. After the 2016 « Pink Salmon » and 2017 « Black Salmon » iterations, the two partners are presenting us a geologically inspired « Fossil » pack in two colorways.
This duo of sneakers is dressed in shades of stone-grey, one darker than the other. With these two silhouettes, END. and Reebok wish to plunge us into the universe of prehistoric geological remains, highlighting the preserved beauty of the original natural world.
These shoes consist of a stone-grey hairy suede upper, dark or light depending on the iteration, combined with smooth suede and light grey synthetic fabrics. The latter have been worked to create a « crackle » print effect imitating the texture and appearance of ancient primitive artifacts. Hexalite padding is used to ensure a comfortable fit and optimal support. The inflation and deflation buttons on the Pump custom fit system are color-matched to the vamp and a tongue pull with END. branding completes the design. Reebok and END. branding appear in embroidery and tone-on-tone on the toe and heel respectively. To complete the archaeological look, the comfortable insoles are adorned with fossil print and co-branding. The whole is based on the thick and characteristic two-piece midsole, here in veil white color, and a rubber gum outsole.
