At the end of 2019, the British retailer END. and the Americans from New Balance had proposed us a collaboration based on the runner NB 878, with a design inspired by the English coasts and its inseparable « Grey Gull » (article available HERE). Today, the two partners met again to pay homage to another bird very present in the British sky and seaside, the grey heron. This time, it is the famous lifestyle silhouette NB 1500 which was chosen to conceive this project named « Grey Heron ».

The END. x New Balance 1500 « Grey Heron » is adorned with the colours of the bird it represents and benefits from a « Made In England » construction.

The shoe consists of a white mesh upper with pigskin suede overlays in shades of grey on the mudguard, laceguard and heel counter, reminiscent of the heron’s dress. The blue colour on the collar also refers to the bird’s plumage and crest, while the yellow-orange shade on the tongue and toe box characterizes its beak. In terms of branding details, the outlines of the side N logo are double embroidered with yellow-orange and blue thread. The model number appears in blue thread on the heel counter and the New Balance brand name, together with the inscription « Made In England », is embroidered in white on the tongue. White laces, pearl grey inner lining and blue insole with END. branding on one side and NB. on the other complete the design. The whole is based on a high-performance white sole with ENCAP technology combined with a blue and orange rubber outsole, completing the coastal bird inspired look.

The END. x New Balance 1500 « Grey Heron » will be available through a draw to be held on August 22, 2020. Registration is now open on

Sizes run UK 4 to UK 11.5, for a price of 185€. Good luck!
