In spring 2020, the famous retailer END. and the legendary brand CLARKS offered us a 100% British collab « Artisan Craft » based on the Wallabee silhouette (article available HERE). The two partners are back today with a 6-piece capsule continuing to celebrate this iconic shoe.
Since its launch in 1967, the Wallabee has been seductive both for its elegance and its casualness. It symbolizes « cool sophistication », aided by its popularity among America’s top college students and its impact in hip-hop fashion.
END. and Clarks built on this symbolism of refinement and relaxation to rework this timeless silhouette. Drawing inspiration from botanical gardens, the shoe comes in six colorways that are a staple of these natural spaces : black, maple, pale blue, lilac, green and orange. In terms of construction and design, this special Wallabee consists of a suede base covered with embossed flower patterns. To complete the refined look, the laces and double hangtag featuring gold Clarks and END. brandings appear color matched to the vamp. For an extra touch of exclusivity, an engraved END. tab has been added and integrated into the heel. The whole is based on a traditional crepe sole, for all colorways.
