The famous British retailer END. continues to partner with great streetwear brands to bring us sought-after and innovative collaborations. After a very first collection designed together in October 2019, END. and CHINATOWN MARKET have worked together again on a capsule named « Co-Op ». This project is centered around the idea of a better world, ecological awareness and unity.
The END. shop and Los Angeles’ leading streetwear brand CHINATOWN MARKET share a positive and committed message of protecting the planet and social cohesion.
They focused on building a cooperative vision of the future through this collaborative capsule with bold colors and engaging details.
The collection consists of 9 pieces made from organic cotton. Each item features distinctive images that celebrate « living together » and recycling to preserve our planet. These ideas are highlighted by Mike Cherman’s iconic smiley face logo combined with the END. branding, the « Let’s Work Together » slogan, the revamped « Recycling Arrows » acronyms and two characters in the form of the Earth and Recycling happily holding hands.
We find the iconic CHINATOWN MARKET basketball reimagined for the occasion in a brightly colored globe spirit and a round « atlas »carpet with the same design. As for the clothing, the iconic hoodie is available in two colors, black or grey, and features an impressive recycling print on the back in a contrasting color, as well as information from CHINATOWN MARKET. Two types of t-shirts are also offered. A first duo of plain white or black t-shirts with the combined logos on the chest and the imposing colorful, playful and committed print on the back. Then, a trio of faded t-shirts in black/orange, lime green/mint green and white/sky blue decorated with recycling arrows.
To complete the idea of defense of nature that inspired this capsule, seeds to sow are slipped into the hang tags. Everyone can participate in giving back to Mother Nature what she has always offered us.
