[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]In March, the British from END. presented a capsule collection designed in partnership with the German firm ADIDAS. This collaboration inspired by football and the flagship cities of the English retailer named « Three Bridges », offered us beautiful items in timeless colorways (article available HERE). These two partners came together to create a shoe based on the art of ceramics and pottery.
It’s on a silhouette of the ZX Adidas range that the designers decided to express themselves : the ZX9000, in a colorway called « Kiln ».
ZX shoes are known and coveted for their legendary Torsion system. This surprising technology dating back to 1988 is still very much appreciated today. It provides superior support, maximum comfort and optimal stability.
The END. teams wanted to bring their vision of aesthetics to this legendary model.
To pay homage to the art of ceramics and pottery, we find a perfect harmony between the silhouette of this classic running shoe and the choice of carefully chosen colours, reminiscent of works designed using ancestral techniques.
The upper is made of breathable and durable sky blue mesh with light grey smooth suede overlays.
The three Adidas stripes on the side panels are covered in beige canvas with a terracotta coloured edging. On the sky blue tongue is a grey tag with END. branding for the left foot and the Adidas logo for the right foot, off-white in colour and surrounded by a design reminiscent of terracotta mosaics. This same print is applied in reverse on each insole.
The light grey heel counters, with a touch of black, appear structured as on the classic ZX 9000. In another nod to the usual details of the model, the unmistakable deubré can be distinguished with Adidas Torsion label in gren colour.
The whole is based on a two-tone Torsion technology sole in sky blue and terracotta, combined with a black outsole.
The END. x ADIDAS ZX 9000 « KILN » will be released on May 23rd on the END. shop website for a price of 110€. It will be accessible via a draw. Registrations are already open.
