British retailer END. presents a new collaboration with German sportswear giant ADIDAS. After the « Tennis Club » collection released last September (article available HERE), the loyal and solid partners move from tennis to basketball by redesigning a flagship silhouette : the Forum. They offer us a 3-piece collection named « Varsity ».
With this collab, END. celebrates this iconic sneaker and its ties to college style.
First seen on the basketball court in 1984, the Forum has become one of the most popular models on the street. It was prized for its comfort, high-end construction and classic, clean aesthetic.
END. goes back to its roots by honoring the Forum’s legacy on the basketball court. The « Varsity » capsule is inspired by the style codes of college teams and the spirit of competition. It consists of 3 versions : 2 low iterations, Low and ADV, and 1 High.
Each pair has a premium look, with an upper mixing high-end leather and shaggy suede. To affirm the collab with subtlety, the END. logo adorns the tongue and left insole. The adidas Trefoil stands out on the right tongue and appears engraved under the ankle.
The collaborative classic Forum Low is dressed in white, yellow and burgundy, and the Forum Low ADV has a similar look, except the last burgundy color is replaced by dark green. Still in the same theme, the special END. Forum Hi features a white base, contrasted by yellow and navy accents. Each pair benefits from a two-tone sole, white/burgundy, white/dark green and white/navy blue respectively.
The END. x adidas Forum Low, ADV & Hi « Varsity » will be released on July 30, 2022 via a raffle now open at launches.endclothing.com. Pricing is set at $139 per iteration, sizes ranging from UK 4 to UK 12.
