The famous British shop END. unveils a new part of its collaboration with the ADIDAS brand. After offering us an elegant UltraBoost OG « Ceramic Craze », the retailer chose the silhouette of the Superturf Adventure to honor the resistant wild goat « Ibex » native to Europe, Asia and Northeast Africa.
The ibex is an animal known for its ability to resist gravity and thrive in extreme terrain.
END. therefore naturally chose the adidas model that perfectly matches the character traits of this species : the Superturf Adventure. This recent silhouette, launched by Sean Wotherspoon, sports a rugged construction focused on the outdoors.
The British boutique has reinterpreted this sneaker to reflect the Ibex goat and the landscapes it inhabits. She dresses in a white/green/orange color palette echoing mountainous habitats, with dusty olive earthy touches, pastel parchment and autumn leaves. The materials used are also meant to represent the rustic nature of the goat.
This special Superturf Adventure consists of a CORDURA upper to ensure durability, waterproofing and sturdiness. It’s upholstered in beige hairy suede that mimics animal skin, with hairy green suede reminiscent of grazing at the toe and heel. The outdoor inspiration is accentuated by reflective accents, a heel pull, orange zig-zag stitching on different parts of the foot and speckled round laces taken from hiking boots. The END. x adidas Mountain Special co-branding adorns the zipped tongue and orange insole. The whole is based on a white ADIPRENE midsole which provides comfort and support and on an orange outsole with studs which provides grip.
The END. x adidas Superturf Adventure « Ibex » will be released on October 1, 2022 via an open raffle at launches.endclothing.com. The price is fixed at 160$ (130£) and sizes ranging from US 6.5 to US 13. Good luck !
