The famous British retailer END. has been making eye-catching collaborations. A few days after presenting its reinterpretation of MEDICOM’s must-have Be@rbrick, it unveils a brand new project called « BLACKJACK » designed with Japanese brand NEEDLES but also with footwear specialist BLACKSTOCK & WEBER.
For the capsule garments, END. is partnering with Keizo Shimizu’s NEEDLES. This new offering is an extension of the collaborative « Monarch » collection released earlier this year.
For the shoes in the collection, END. worked for the 1st time with Brooklyn-based brand BLACKSTOCK & WEBER. Created by Chris Echevarria, this fashion and lifestyle label offers chic and modern loafers inspired by travel, music, culture, art and photography. This brand combines tradition and innovation.
The collection consists of 5 NEEDLES signature pieces and a pair of revisited BLACKSTOCK & WEBER Ellis Penny loafers.
Named « Blackjack », this collab is inspired by the legendary card game and its iconic visual codes.
On the textile side, it consists of a tracksuit, a mohair cardigan, a short-sleeved shirt and Bermuda bucket hat. Each piece is presented in black with white details referring to the legendary card game : the symbols Spades and Clubs. It features the NEEDLES Butterfly logo and co-branding to affirm the collab.
The Ellis Penny Loafer is handcrafted in Portugal with grained leather from the Tanneries du Puy. The black color scheme is contrasted by an off-white toe box with embroidered clover on the left foot and spade on the right. True to BLACKSTOCK & WEBER’s style, the sole features a double leather construction and a Goodyear welt.
The Collection END. « Blackjack » Featuring Needles and Blackstock & Weber will be released on November 12, 2022 via a raffle now open on the UK store launches.endclothing.com. Prices range from $140 for the bucket hat to $400 for the loafers.
