The Japanese clothing brand EMMI joins its compatriots at ASICS to participate in the celebration of the 30th anniversary of GEL-Lyte III. After proposing a number of collaborations in recent years and a black GEL-Lyte III in October 2019, EMMI presents us with an opposite iteration in shades of white.
The shoe in various neutral tones presents a refined and delicate design.
It consists of a white OG nylon upper with pearl grey suede overlays on the toe, mudguard and upper laceguard. The lower part appears in cream white, as does the heel counter and its clip. A smooth white fabric inner lining and laces to match the iconic split tongue harmonize the look. To complete the pair’s neat and delicate style, pure white leather Asics side stripes, the logo and model name subtly engraved on the heel tab and side heel respectively, complete the look. The whole is based on a two-tone white and grey GEL midsole combined with a translucent outsole in three shades : milky white at the toe, light grey in the center and rubber under the heel, completing the elegant design.
The Emmi x Asics GEL-Lyte III will be available on 1 December on the website of the clothing label emmi.jp for 120€ in women’s sizes US 5 to US 8, including half sizes.
