The American sportswear giant NIKE continues to present us Dunk Low in various new colorways. After previewing the special edition « NY vs NY » a few days ago (article available HERE) on social networks, this very popular silhouette is unveiled today in 2 « Camo » versions.
The two camo inspired pairs come with a different, even opposite design.
The first iteration is dressed in a color palette of black, oïl green, white, burgundy and orange. It consists of a base covered in several different camo prints. This bold combination is softened by black nubuck overlays. In the same approach, the tongue, inner lining and laces are also presented in black. The oil green color is found on the leather side Swoosh, tongue tag, lace tips and outsole, adding flair to the pair. Heel branding is different on each foot : Nike branding appears in green on the left heel tab, while orange basketball embroidery with a mini Swoosh adorns the right heel tab. A white midsole finalizes the design.
The second version comes in white, black, burgundy, dark green, orange, beige and yellow. It consists of a white leather upper with overlays in different camo patterns and combining several contrasting colors. This design is complemented by touches of black, especially on the side swooshes, the inner lining and the stitching on the midsole. The latter appears in white, as well as the laces. The photos posted of this pair do not allow to properly visualize the heel brandigns but, like the first iteration, they seem to be adorned with the black Nike branding on one side and the orange basketball on the other, to be confirmed… The whole is based on a black rubber outsole, which brings the final touch.
The Nike Dunk Low « Camo » duo will be released soon, during this spring 2021, at selected retailers and on nike.com, for a usual price of 110$ per iteration. For the latest official details, stay tuned…
