14 years ago, Thibaut de Longeville made a feature film who spotlightenning the sneaker “Just for kicks”. This documentary provided a better understanding of how the sneakers had become iconic objects, were part of a real “Culture” seen as a lifestyle and contemporary pop culture key element.
4 years later in 2010, Thibaut directed “Nike Air Force 1”. A documentary told by the rap legend KRS-One, with special guests stars such as DJ Clark Kent, Stash, Bobbito Garcia… The purpose, to understand how a basketball shoe had become a cultural icon, transcending various great universes of our daily lives like fashion, music, design…
