DJ Mike feat. AJJI “Chop Suey”

DJ MIKE, the famous French DJ-songwriter from Anse-Bertrand in Guadeloupe (French West Indies), unveils a new project that seems destined for success. He is associated with the promising Jamaican artist AJJI and presents us the very first single named “Chop Suey”.

Since his first album in 2004, Mike Tell, better known under his nickname DJ MIKE, has collaborated with many artists of the French Caribbean scene such as Krys, Antonny Drew, Jean Michel Rotin or Sonia Dersion. This music lover is also the founder of the concept of evening ‘Retro Si Tol’ which allowed him to make a name in the world of showbizz.

Dj Mike spotted AJJI, whose real name is Keith Bolt, after listening to his track “Live for the Summer” with 2 Jamaican pillar artists, Stylo G and Busy Signal. AJJI is an emerging dancehall dj who found success with his 1st EP ‘Resurrect’ released in 2021 via his independent label Ajji World. This artist, who is also the cousin of track and field star Usain Bolt, represents the new generation of Reggae-Dancehall.

Dj Mike and AJJI created the track “Chop Suey”, whose name corresponds to the Chinese dish filled with protein.

For this song, the beatmaker is Jusua (Tawanda Sibotshwine). AJJI imagined the lyrics and DJ Mike mastered this sound mixed by Michel Menard and produced it through his company ‘Tropical Mix Prod’. Tinted with humor, “Chop Suey” alludes to the charm and charisma of the Jamaican artist. Elements of seduction that can appeal to women of all origins. AJJI likes the mix and the melting pot of beauty.
