For several months, the famous DJ Khaled teases his upcoming collab « We the Best » with Jordan Brand based on the AJ5 silhouette. After a rather complete presentation last April (article available HERE), the American producer brings details on the first 2 colorways « Crimson Bliss » and « Coconut ».
Like the other versions of this collaborative collection, the « Crimson Bliss » and « Coconut » have an eye-catching pastel shade, respectively coral orange and off-white.
They consist of a leather upper in the titular hue, with overlays, side netting and matching laces. The tongue is dressed in reflective grey and features a black Jumpman logo. The inner side features DJ Khaled’s motivational slogan : KEEP GOING. It appears in a light blue color, as does the inner lining. The latter features a quilted design that adds flair to the pair. To affirm the collab, WE THE BEST is affixed on the left insole and is embroidered on the heel of the same foot. A black heel clip, off-white or purple midsole, depending on the iteration, with blue speckled shark teeth complete the design. The whole is based on a semi-translucent yellowed outsole for the Coral version or icy for the off-white pair, which lets the blue logos of the 2 partners appear under the foot.
The shoe will be delivered in a co-branded box with a 90’s look and with 3 extra sets of laces.
The DJ Khaled x Air Jordan 5 « Crimson Bliss » and « Coconut » will be released on Cyber Monday, i.e. November 28, 2022, for a price of $225 each, at selected retailers and on nike.com. Be ready !
