DISTRICT VISION was founded in 2016 by British Tom Daly (ex-Acne) and German Max Vallot (formerly in marketing at Saint Laurent) when the two men discovered the joys and benefits of running and meditation. Herein lies the brand’s key message. The 2 men met as students in London, joined forces and based their brand in Los Angeles. Constantly researching and developing tools to help others become conscious athletes, the brand seeks to create products focused on function and performance enhancement, which are the foundation of wellness in the form of exercise.
As the founders explain : “District Vision started out as a brand of technical eyewear for runners, then gradually expanded its offering around cycling caps, technical socks, a line of jerseys and a first pair of shoes born of a collaboration with the Salomon brand.”
Today, 7 years after its creation, the DISTRICT VISION brand of sleek clothing and technical, functional accessories arrives at FOOTPATROL. To celebrate this event, the Footpatrol team took some of the latest collections to the English south coast, with local runners Fey and Arran.
A collection of some twenty District Vision pieces is available from Footpatrol. These include long- and short-sleeved T-shirts, trail layering shorts and training shorts, running tights and half-tights, zipped fleece tops, eye-catching fleece vests, various jacket styles – hooded, half-zipped, windproof – and cozy neck warmers, and a shoe bag.
