Dutch eco-brand DFNS continues to make headway in the world of sneakers and sports by announcing a new partnership. In addition to working in conjunction with Nike Grind (article available HERE), the shoe cleaning and care label has joined the list of partners of the English soccer club FOREST GREEN ROVERS.
Founded in 1889, FOREST GREEN ROVERS is the current champion club of the 2nd English division.
The team has made amazing progress in less than 5 years, moving from the National League to League 1 and being crowned League 2 champions on the final day of last season.
In addition to shining on the field, FOREST GREEN ROVERS have won other awards related to their pioneering approach to sustainability, such as the Green Heart Hero Sustainability in Spot Award. The club’s motto is « Another Way » : sustainability is at the heart of decisions and expectations, such as solar panels, electric car charging stations and veggie menus at the stadium.

DFNS becomes the outdoor grandstand partner for Forest Green Rovers’ The Bolt New Lawn stadium. Now called the « DFNS Stand », the Dutch brand is proudly displayed there ahead of the club’s first season in League One. DFNS will provide its environmentally friendly and sustainable products to all players, the Academy, the community, as well as home and away fans.
