After presenting an Air Max 1 in limited quantity in June (article available HERE), the Amsterdam jeans manufacturer DENHAM continues its collaboration with the American giant NIKE. An Air Max 95 was unveiled a few days ago and today we discover an Air Max 90, in cult OG colorways.
Unlike the DENHAM AM1, these two pairs should be more accessible.
The Air Max 95 is dressed in a palette of emblematic colours : Volt, black, tan and white. It consists of a white mesh upper with overlays, on the sides and the mudguard, in premium quality denim in a gradation of black to tan. The eyelets, the embroidered Swoosh on the heel counter and the air units appear in Volt, bringing a nice touch of contrast to the pair. The airmax branding is sewn on the tan tongue and on the black insole, the scissors logo, DENHAM’s signature, is associated with the Nike brand. The whole is based on a black sole with the slogan « The Truth is in the details » under the sole of the foot. This quote inspires DENHAM’s teams, who are deeply committed to an obsession with detail and meticulous design. Both pairs feature the inscription « DENHAM The Jeanmaker » on the tan inner lining.
The Air Max 90 is dressed in Infrared, blue and tan. It consists of an upper made of high quality tan denim with overlays of the same material in a gradation of blue. The side swoosh is also made of blue denim and has red seams reminiscent of the Infrared colorway present on the eyelets and under the ankle. As with the Air Max 95, the scissor logos are combined with Nike branding on the black insole. The Nike Air mention is embroidered with red thread on the tan tongue. For add contrast, the leather heel tab appears in beige. The whole is based on a white midsole with the Infrared air unit part and a black outsole with the Infrared tip.
The DENHAM x NIKE Air Max 95 & NIKE Air Max 90 will be available this summer 2020 at selected retailers and on Nike.com, at a price of 180€ for the AM95 and 160€ for the AM90.
