Everyone knows that the rapper BOOBA is a very inspired (and inspiring) artist who never lacks ideas. Whether it’s for his verses or the launch of his new products, B2O the entrepreneur is always on top of things. After releasing his 10th and final album a few days ago, he embarks on a new adventure as Puma muse. The artist of 92i extends his partnership with the German equipment manufacturer, through his fashion brand DCNTD. A sneaker designed in collaboration with Puma should be offered soon.
The legendary German brand Puma is trying to regain its place on the sneaker scene by developing new projects with big names in streetwear, sports or music. In September 2020, it had notably made the news by signing an impressive contract with the Brazilian footballer NEYMAR. Then 2 months later, the iconic French rapper based in Miami BOOBA announced to become the new ambassador of the German equipment manufacturer by collaborating on the promotion of the legendary Suede silhouette.
Photographer Julien Boudet aka @bleumode on Instagram, teased the upcoming DCNTD x Puma collaborative sneaker. The key element of this pair could be the transparent outsole that reveals the two brandings inscribed in black. From the only photo posted, it looks like the shoe will come in white with a matching midsole. Puma’s comment in the form of the « hourglass » emoticon, gives us confidence that the collaboration is official and the release date is already set.
