In 2019, the equipment manufacturer ADIDAS had celebrated the brilliant career of British footballer David Beckham through a reimagined Ultraboost. Two years later, the soccer legend and the German brand unveil a collaborative Ultraboost DNA.
David Beckham is a former British footballer who began his career with Manchester United in 1992 at the age of 17. Playing as a midfielder, the talented Englishman won 6 championships with his team, 2 English Cups, 1 International Cup and 1 Champions League. Becks has also played for foreign clubs such as Real Madrid (Spain), A.C Milan (Italy), Paris Saint-Germain (France) and L.A Galaxy (USA). He’s the first English player to win league titles in 4 different countries. During his 20-year career, David Beckham has won 19 major trophies. In May 2013, he retired at the age of 38. Today, he’s the president and co-owner of Inter Miami FC.
The revamped adidas Ultraboost DNA is dressed in colorways that match the current kit of his Inter Miami FC team and also recalls the special edition adidas Predator LZ that David Beckham wore in honor of the birth of his daughter Harper Seven in 2011.
It consists of a white Primeknit upper, developed with CLIMA technology that offers ultra-breathability, anti-moisture and firm support. This base is enhanced by hot pink and black accents on the iconic 3 side stripes and heel reinforcement. The BECKHAM name appears in black on the leather tongue tag and pink adidas branding adorns the heel tab also in leather. The design is completed with a white Boost midsole featuring black brushstroke detailing that adds a street and unfinished touch to the pair. A two-tone white and pink outsole finalizes the look.
The David Beckham x adidas Ultra Boost DNA will be released very soon at select retailers and adidas.com, with a suggested retail price of 130$.
