The famous retailer COURIR is working to promote the sneaker culture and its community. In addition to offering programs to help up-and-coming designers, such as the « Creative Women Lab » (article available HERE), the retailer announces its partnership with the 1st French festival dedicated to drop culture, the DRP.
The partnership between COURIR and the teams in charge of the DRP festival seemed obvious. The 2 entities have the same motivations and interests, that’s why WSN Developpement organized a meeting to agree on the terms of the collaboration.
To clarify, a « drop » is something rare and exclusive, such as a highly anticipated mixtape with an incredible featuring, a collab between a sportswear brand and a video game franchise, the re-release of an iconic pair of shoes in a new colorway or a fast food menu elaborated by a rapper.
DRP is an exclusive gathering place, between festival and giant concept store. COURIR will be present at the event through different activations. The retailer will also accompany DRP on its communication channels, notably with its media Sneaker Spirit.
This event will gather Gen Z and milllenials around common passions : sneakers, streetwear, fashion, gaming, sports, music, food and/or metaverse.
More precisely, the program will include streetwear, vintage and eco-responsible trends, Sneakerness exclusivities, Food Court by Reussette, Elisa Parron exhibitions, gaming experiences, Web 3 discovery and immersion, metavers and NFTs, but also basketball (by Trajectoire Studio) and skateboarding competitions and initiation, as well as music by Hotel Radio Paris.
