For the second season of its « Creative Women Lab », the iconic retailer COURIR is encouraging talented women with a passion for design to apply to join its program. This way, their work will be highlighted, they will be accompanied and will be able to participate in exclusive workshops.
As a reminder, in November 2020, COURIR launched the « Creative Women Lab », a program to support young female designers. Each semester, the universe and the work of 4 new women were highlighted. The last Earth Week had been celebrated through an avant-garde dress imagined and made by women from this lab (article available HERE).
This year, the Creative Women Lab is sponsored by Mossi Traoré, winner of the Pierre Bergé Prize of ANDAM 2020, the creator of the Mossi brand and the founder of the school « Les ateliers Alix ». Both fashion designer and social entrepreneur, this French-Malian who grew up in Villiers-sur-Marne has always wanted to build bridges between worlds. The pieces of his brand are 100% ethical, 100% made in France and more precisely designed in the Parisian suburbs.
The talented designer will make available his gallery at the Carrousel du Louvre to exhibit the pieces of the women of this program COURIR.
For season 2 of the Creative Women Lab, Berrin (@rin.by.rin), Téva (@tevasartori), Léonie (@2cool4schoolclothing) and Laetitia (@leatitiacsb) were chosen for their boundless creativity. Glass jewelry, upcycling, handmade pieces… here are the different universes of these creators.
In addition to seeing their creations highlighted, these women were able to benefit from a personalized accompaniment and to take advantage of communication levers made available by the French retailer. They also took part in 2 workshops of customization in collaboration with the German giant ADIDAS in the COURIR store of Châtelet Les Halles.
