COURIR célèbre la Earth Week avec Nike et trois créatrices

The number 1 sneaker brand in France, COURIR, celebrates Earth Week 2021 by inviting 3 designers from its « Creative Women Lab » to create a unique design piece. This exclusive garment was imagined to be worn with the bold and responsible Nike Crater Impact sneaker.

Designers Kitesy Martin, Marianna Ladreyt and Hemma Lange took up this challenge based on constructive and inspiring exchanges around environmental values in fashion and Nike’s eco-responsible approach.

These committed and passionate women have joined their specificities to imagine a unique and original garment, designed 100% through the method of upcycling. The result is an avant-garde dress in which we guess the universe of each designer.

This piece matches the Crater Impact silhouette, which has a unique design with futuristic and colorful touches. The shoe is part of the Beaverton giant’s « Move To Zero » project to reduce its carbon impact. It’s made with at least 25% of its weight in recycled materials and displays unique design choices that reduce waste compared to traditional methods. For example, we discover an embroidered side Swoosh and functional straight-edged reinforcements for an efficient design that minimizes fabric waste. The whole is based on a raised Crater foam midsole made from 12% recycled materials and offering maximum stability and a signature speckled look. To finalize the approach, the rubber outsole contains 15% Nike Grind material providing grip and durability.

Several videos of the 3 creators’ project from the « COURIR Creative Women Lab » celebrating Earth Week can be found on the retail giant’s social media channels. The Nike Crater Impact silhouette is available on courir.com, in men’s and women’s sizes, for 120$ per iteration.
