The famous Shenzen shop COSTS continues its momentum of eye-catching collaborations. After teaming up with CotD and Salomon last month, the South China store has teamed up with Italian brand DIADORA for the first time to bring their touch to the V7000 silhouette.
The Chinese shop COSTS is known for its focus on developing distinct individuality and promoting a better life, while remaining committed to fashion aesthetics and lifestyle. These are values also shared by DIADORA, the high-end Italian sneaker brand.

This exclusive « Coral Pink » release addresses the theme of « rare and precious things. » It incorporates environmental awareness into its design by taking a classic, high-end and popular silhouette, the V7000, as its base. Taking the sea bed and coral as its inspiration, it conveys a positive message of conservation of the natural environment, but also of freedom, passion, strength, happiness, free expression and eternity of which the coral is the symbol.
This model combines pure Italian craftsmanship, with a construction of high-end materials and inspirations from an ancient Chinese verse describing a rare and precious treasure : « 明珠交玉体，珊瑚间木难 », which means « the beautiful treasure that is adorned with dazzling pearls, coral, and precious beads. »
The shoe comes in a color palette of black, navy and turquoise blue, purple, pink and white. It consists of a premium suede upper in shades of the color blue in a double layer, complemented by high-quality black leather inserts. The Diadora side emblem provides a nice touch of contrast with its bright pink color evoking the coral of the deep sea and representing the vibrant tones of the coral scene of the ocean floor. The heels are adorned with 2 different pink embroideries : the coral and an anchor, which underline the message of the collab, the tongues feature the branding of each brand in purple and the insole is adorned with a print of a coral colony. The whole is based on a white midsole with a purple heel clip and a black and hot pink outsole, which bring the final harmonious touch to the design.
The COSTS x Diadora V7000 « Coral Pink » will be released on March 11, 2023 for 1699 RMB ($246), in the COSTS shop and online at costsstore.com.
