After many attractives teasings, the famous London brand CORTEIZ brings details on the launch of its very first collab with the American giant NIKE. The long awaited Air Max 95, historically called the ‘110’ by the British (in reference to its purchase price), revisited by CLINT419 will be able to be cop in a very particular way, faithful to the philosophy of CORTEIZ.

CORTEIZ is a British underground streetwear brand founded in 2017 that has built a solid fanbase and exploded nationwide. With its authentic values and unconcealed origins, CLINT419, its founder, develops original projects that speak strongly to the youth. The brand produces limited edition pieces that are accessible through very special formats, such as ‘Da Great Bolo Exchange’, which exchanged down jackets in good condition for new and limited Bolo Corteiz. CLINT419 offers exclusive pieces at affordable prices accessible via a private site and encourages buyers not to resell. CORTEIZ’s famous ALCATRAZ logo represents rebellion against convention, resourcefulness, ‘from the street back to the street’.

For the launch of its very first collaboration with Nike, CLINT419 thought of an exclusive mode of acquisition : the « Crossbar Challenge », a challenge paying tribute to the Crossbar Challenge of Ronaldinho in 2005 for the promotion of his Nike Tiempo.

The CORTEIZ x Nike AM 95 collaborative can be won after a successful shot on the bar from outside the penalty area. 2 attempts per person, on a first come, first served basis. The location of the challenge will be revealed at the last moment, as always with the London brand. The announcement of this challenge was communicated by a video featuring the French international, the footballer Eduardo Camavinga who plays at Real Madrid.

In terms of design, this AM 95 reinvented by CORTEIZ consists of an olive green mesh upper imitating army nets, complemented by traditional multi-layered leather overlays in different shades of green. The military vibe is also found on the camo-covered inner lining and insole. Branding details are featured in bright yellow : the ALCATRAZ logo on the tongue tag, ‘Corteiz’ on the side heel, the ‘C’ on the mudguard and the Swoosh on the insole. A black sole with yellow Air units harmoniously finalizes the look.

The CORTEIZ x NIKE Air Max 95 will be released on the morning of February 25, 2023, via the « Crossbar Challenge” »which will take place in an as yet unknown London spot. To practice, the video of Eduardo Camavinga for CORTEIZ is available HERE. Let’s go and good luck !
