A few months ago, I told you in an article (available HERE) about the new collaboration between Nike and the iconic Boston shop CONCEPTS. A pack of three Air Max 1 called “Message To Universe”.
Having been lucky enough to receive one of the colorways of the collection called “Heavy” thanks to my friends at FOOTSHOP, I suggest you to discover it in pictures on my feet.
This AM1 is composed of an upper with different types of materials such as denim or textile in patterns ranging from paisley to tiger camo. We also discover pendleton or furry inserts (with a giraffe pattern). The side swooshes come in a mismatch effect, in the form of flowers or colored horizontal stripes. The collar is covered with a special jacquart print including the woven CONCEPT branding and the toe box features a discreet embroidery of the symbols “star slash moon”. The collab is also affirmed by a co-branded tongue and insole, as well as the addition of a removable CONCEPTS branded pick at the upper corduroy eyelets.
The “Heavy” is simply beautiful. At first I thought it was too busy, but in the end, when you put it together with the storytelling, you can only make sense of it and appreciate its beauty. For me, this is a “Must Have” in a sneaker addict’s collection. Thanks again to Footshop.
