The famous Boston shop CONCEPTS shook up social networks earlier this week by teasing 2 exclusive versions of the legendary Nike Air Max 1 silhouette (article available HERE). To the delight of sneakerheads, Deon Point, the creative director of the store, unveiled an additional colorway « Olive Denim ».
This collab consists of 3 special versions of the AM1 and is part of the 35th anniversary celebrations of the iconic silhouette designed by the great Tinker Hatfield.
Just like the 2 collaborative iterations that appeared a few days ago, this shoe sports a bold look with color combinations, materials and patterns.
Deon Point has only shown the right foot for now. We discover a light blue denim upper with an olive green canvas mudguard featuring a discreet star pattern, combined with different overlays depending on their positioning. The toe box is adorned with a cowhide band, the Swoosh appears in black, red and green striped terry cloth, the heel is adorned with a black/white Paisley pattern insert and the collar is covered with a graphic print featuring CONCEPTS branding. To complete the look, burgundy red is applied to the velvet tongue and laces, as well as the inner lining. The whole is based on an off-white midsole with brown splashes on its lower part and coupled with a chocolate-colored outsole.
Like the first two colorways, the pair should also be adorned with co-branding on the insole and tongue. It will be delivered in a box specially decorated for the occasion and with additional sets of laces.
