The famous New York streetwear brand SUPREME continues its seductive series of collaborations. A few days ago, it brightened up the fall season by revisiting great classics from VANS (article available HERE). Today, the James Jebbia’s label protects us from the cold with style by teaming up with the Japanese brand WTAPS.
For this fall 2021, the 2 partners have combined their influences to offer us a collection paying tribute to their origins.
It consists of a varsity jacket available in 2 colorways, black/red and white, and featuring co-branding, embroidery and vintage motifs such as « SIC’EM! », the launch years of the 2 brands « 94/96 » as well as the 03/212 Tokyo/New York area codes. This capsule also features a black or green faux fur hooded jacket and a black, beige or red bulletproof vest inspired sleeveless down jacket. To complete the look, we find classic streetwear pieces to match the jackets, such as a hoodie and a round neck sweatshirt available in 3 colors, and a white or black short sleeve t-shirt. A blue and white field hockey jersey completes the textile collection. As for the accessories, the 2 brands offer us two-colored beanies with pompoms, 3 skateboards and an incense holder in the shape of a grillz.
The WTAPS x SUPREME Fall 2021 collection will be released on December 2, 2021 in SUPREME stores and online at supremenewyork.com. It will then arrive on December 4 in Japan. Don’t sleep !
