BAPE continues to offer us attractive collaborations. Hours after teasing a duo of co-branded New Balance 57/40s, the Japanese streetwear brand presents a collection designed with the legendary fashion magazine, VOGUE.
Introduced as part of BAPE’s 29th anniversary and modeled by talented young Japanese designer, Kōki, the capsule consists of 16 classic unisex and kids streetwear pieces.
Combining the 2 partners’ distinct styles, the collection includes hoodies, t-shirts, bucket hats, purses and bags with a stylish, playful and flashy look. Some of the items feature a new ABC CAMO specially created for this collaboration, which combines bold reds and pinks with white and black. Others feature the famous APE HEAD logo or the Baby Milo. Elegant contrasting VOGUE branding, black or white, appears on all of these collaborative items with the name BAPE added in the center of the letter « O ».
In the spirit of eco-responsibility, the pieces in this capsule will be packaged in traditional Japanese Washi paper, which requires few chemicals for processing. It’s usually used to make lanterns.
The VOGUE x BAPE collection will be released on April 2, 2022 at A BATHING APE retailers and on bape.com. Prices range from 80 to 200$. Don’t sleep !
